Martin Milner kommt ursprünglich aus Liverpool, England und lebt seit 2008 in Potsdam. Er war als
Komponist für das Theater tätig (Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Glastonbury Festival, Brighton Festival,
The Lowry Salford), war als Gitarrist, Sänger und Flötist in vielen englischen Bands dabei (Aidan
Jolly, Cuchillo, Urban Desert Orchestra, One Big Party, Waterwheel, The Pedagawgs) und trat als
Singer-Songwriter und Dichter auf. 2015 hat er mit Christian Isheim (Unterton Audioproduktion,
Berlin) eine CD mit 13 Songs produziert ('Songs For A Fragile Planet' – Bandcamp:
https://mjmilner.bandcamp.com/). Seit zwei Jahren musiziert Martin Milner zusammen mit Mario
Hüttges (Schlagzeug), Christian Isheim (Bass) und Silvio Huonder (Saxophon) als Band mit dem
Namen The MMO oder manchmal ‘Medium Happy Collective’. Sie spielen eigene Lieder mit
Einflüssen von British Folk, Rock, Funk, Jazz, Reggae und Blues.
A child of Liverpool, a young man in Brighton, ten years in Manchester and since 2008 a resident of
Potsdam, Martin Milner has always kept music in the centre of his life. As a singer-songwriter,
guitarist, flute player, theatre composer, musical director and community musician his musical
journey has taken him to many interesting places including Glastonbury Festival, the Edinburgh
Fringe and a tour of the newly liberated Czechoslovakia in 1992! He is also a teacher and a poet.
With support from German/Swiss friends Mario Hüttges (Schlagzeug), Christian Isheim (Bass,
produktion) and Silvio Huounder (Sax) his songs have grown into full band arrangements. His 2015

and Spotify, iTunes etc.
